The Ministry of Education in Khartoum denies leakage of basic certificate exams
The Ministry of Education in Khartoum State denied the information circulating about the leakage of some of the Foundation Stage Certificate exams for the year 2022.
The Ministry of Education in Khartoum State confirmed in its statement yesterday that all stages of examinations from their composition to their arrival for pupils and pupils under the direct supervision of technical and administrative departments and the securing of regular and security organs.
She advised that at all stages of examinations, a question-and-answer paper should move only with the security services in which she has full confidence. The statement reads as follows:
The Ministry of Education has followed the state of Khartoum with information circulating about the leak of some foundation certificate exams for the year 2022.
Accordingly, we declare the following:
The Ministry of Public Opinion and Parents declares that all examination procedures from their composition to their arrival for pupils and pupils under the direct supervision of technical and administrative departments and the securing of regular and security agencies.
No questions and answers will move at all stages of the examinations unless accompanied by security agencies in which we trust Talma’s confidence.
The eighth grade examinations are based on each subject’s book. There is a manual issued by the National Centre for Curriculum and Educational Research showing the number of questions and how to answer them. This makes it easier for teachers to prepare their tests for students according to these criteria. Thus, it is natural that some of the questions in the examinations correspond to teachers’ expectations that the eighth grade exams with the same courses and standards have passed for more than a quarter of a century.
We reiterate our strong assurance that all examination procedures for this year are 100% sound and flawless. We request all relevant authorities to contact the Department of Measurement and Educational Evaluation of the Ministry for details.
Notwithstanding this, Khartoum State has set up a commission to investigate these allegations from experts in the field of education, psychology and security services.
Finally, the Ministry wishes to point out that all these false allegations and rumours are always issued after the completion of the examinations and the purpose is to create confusion only without regard for educational morality and national aspects.
