The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development participates in the first voluntary regional forum

The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) participates in the first regional forum on voluntary third-party security methodology and mechanisms, held in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, from 30 August to 1 September 2022, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) UNIDO, in cooperation with the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency In the presence of the President of the Codex Commission, the President of the Arab Accreditation Authority, the President of the Arab Federation of Food Industries, the Chairman of the Arab Specialized Team for Food Safety and the Regional Director for Development Cooperation of the International Agency of Sida, with the participation of representatives and decision makers from all Arab countries, as well as representatives of relevant organizations and bodies.

This forum aims to raise awareness, share and share theoretical and scientific knowledge and information between regulators and stakeholders in the Middle East and North Africa region on how to implement voluntary third-party guarantee programmes by improving decision-making regarding regulations and regulations, This contributes to the conceptualization of the regional approach to the implementation of the Codex Principles for the evaluation and use of voluntary third-party guarantee programmes (CXG93-2021) in Arab countries.
