Committee of Prisoners and Missing Persons begins to receive complaints and information from citizens
The committee dealing with the issue of prisoners and missing persons announced the launching of its work and the start of receiving complaints and information from citizens in its offices in Khartoum, southeast of the Expatriates Secretariat, on Saturdays and Tuesdays .
Head of the committee,Dr. Suleiman Omda Haggana, said in the press conference held yesterday at the (SUNA) forum that the most important achievements of the committee is the receipt of statements from the concerned authorities which is considered as a road map for this committee, as the statements will be classified and presented for investigation purposes in the coming period.
He pointed out that a form was designed after a serious study to accommodate the missing regular forces and the missing parties to the peace process, in addition to submitting an initial report to the Sovereignty Council.
