President of Sovereignty Council Receives Tut Galwak
The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt.-Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Received in his office the Advisor to the President of the Republic of South Sudan for Security Affairs, Tut Galwak, and discussed the great role that the joint forces, which were recently graduated in Juba, will play in supporting the peace and stability in South Sudan State.
Tut explained in a press statement that he briefed the President of the Sovereignty Council in the graduation of these forces, given that Sudan is one of the main guarantors of the peace agreement in South Sudan.
He noted that the meeting also dealt with the situation in Sudan and progress of the dialogue between the political forces to address the state, adding that the meeting touched on the Implementation of the Juba agreement for peace in Sudan and the ongoing efforts to implement the remainder of its provisions.

Tut said that he felt the determination and strong will of the President of the Sovereignty Council towards achieving national consensus between all the people of the country to complete the remainder of the transitional period, stressing that his country supports everything that would bolster peace and stability in Sudan.
The Advisor of South Sudan President for Security Affairs has referred to the challenges that Sudan is facing as a result of the floods and heavy rains disaster, and affirming South Sudan support for the Sudanese people to find a peaceful solution to the crisis in Sudan.
