The President of the Sovereignty Council receives an invitation to participate in the Arab Summit
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received an official invitation from Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to participate in the thirty-first session of the Arab Summit, which Algeria will host on the first and second of November.
This came when he met in his office today with the Special Envoy of the Algerian President and Minister of Trade and Export Promotion Kamal Reziqi, who handed him the invitation.
In a press statement, Riziqi said that during the meeting he conveyed the greetings of the President of the Algerian Republic to the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, indicating that Algeria is looking forward to Sudan’s contribution to the success of this summit and making it an opportunity to promote joint Arab action.
He stressed the importance that the leadership of the two countries attach to establishing and expanding brotherly relations in various fields. He said that Lieutenant General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan conveyed his greetings to the Algerian President, stressing his participation in the work of the Arab Summit and the endeavor of the Republic of Sudan to make this summit a success in a way that enhances Arab solidarity.
