IGAD concludes the meeting of the 40 session of the Ambassadors’ Committee

Meetings of the 40th ordinary session of the Committee of Ambassadors accredited with leadership were held today in Djibouti in the presence of ambassadors of Member States, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti and the Executive Secretary of Mr. Raqni Kabihu.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Ambassadors’ Committee, Ambassador Rahma Saleh al-Obeid of the Sudan of Djibouti.

Challenges to the work of the Organization were discussed and highlighted in addition to the passage of a number of proposals contributing to the development of the Organization’s work.

The Executive Secretary referred to Mr. Raqni Kabihu’s leadership of the success of the meeting.

It is worth mentioning that the Sudan is the President of the current session of IGAD.
