Investigate combating criminal networks for illegal immigration
The Technical Director of the Khartoum Operational Centre (Al-Rock), Mr. Waqvi Jamit, announced his readiness to expand the Centre’s activities to include support and assistance to victims of illegal immigration crimes and human trafficking.
The Head of the Passport and Civil Registry Authority met with the team of the Khartoum Regional Operational Centre (Al-Rok) headed by the Technical Director of the Khartoum Operational Centre, Mr. Waqvi Jamit yesterday.
The meeting examined the importance of cooperation and coordination between the Centre and all relevant government agencies in combating organized crime, particularly illegal migration and trafficking in human beings, which had become a major security threat at the national, regional and international levels owing to the victims of such crimes, especially women and children.
For his part, he thanked the Ministry of the Interior and the Presidency of the Police Force for their growing interest and great role in combating such crimes and affirmed his readiness to expand the Centre’s activities to include support and assistance to victims.
