Sudani is the first telecommunications company to start pilot operation of the 5G network
A Sudani company announced its gradual start-up of the “5G” network. The Deputy Director of Technical Affairs of Sudatel Group, Engineer Jafar Saleh, said that history will be recorded in the letters of light of our Sudani national operator as the first telecommunications company in the country to initiate this technology, thereby linking new industries to service and Internet entry into the Sudan’s Internet of Things era.
Sudani Technical Director Hamam Osman noted that 5G experiments are conducted on 3.5GHZ bandwidth with high bandwidth capacity that enables less than 3MS access speed that allows for faster high-speed browsing and download.
The Sudan is expected to be the third African country to begin initial testing of 5G after South Africa and Morocco.
