The Supreme Council for Strategy meets the team of the Digital Transformation Project for Infrastructure
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Strategy and Information assured D. Ihsan Bashir when chairing her office the Digital Transformation Project meeting in the presence of the delegation of the Roads and Bridges Authority and the Director of the Information Center and Smart Government Engineer Asrar Osman Al-Khalis and the Director of Systems and Applications Engineer Omar Abdul Kader the importance of digital transformation in all infrastructure projects to ensure speed, accuracy and efficiency in design while reducing effort.
The Information Centre’s readiness to provide technical support in connection with networking and specialized training.
The meeting also heard additional enlightenment from Maha engineer Mustafa Al Taher, a strategic planning consultant for the Roads, Bridges and Water Banks Authority, on the idea of a construction information modelling project for infrastructure projects (BIM) explains the importance of the project in solving problems of interdisciplinary non-coordination so that through the default construction on the computer can calculate quantities and cost and output graphics with high accuracy and by model 3D the problem can be solved before implementation on reality.
They are in the process of launching a tender pamphlet for the implementation of the project in 2023 involving a team of consultants, designers and contractors.
