Opening of the first environmental exhibition in Sudan
The German club opened on Friday, the first environmental exhibition in the Sudan organized by Caucarine with the basic sponsorship of the Supreme Council for the Environment as well as the sponsorship of the German Embassy.
Ms. Tasnim Al-Nur, Founder and President of Qurain and Coordinator of the Ecofire Exhibition, said (The first environmental exhibition in the Sudan) is an occasion to highlight the environment not only in terms of attention and protection but also in the use of wasted resources rather than as a cause of damage, adding that the use of friendly materials and the reuse and production of consumed materials serve to reduce thermal emissions, emphasizing the need for attention to the environment and helping to preserve it.
Mr. Mohammed Othman Abdou, Chairman of the German Club Council and Environmental Specialist, expressed the club’s pleasure in hosting the event, noting that their hosting of the exhibition came from the heart of their concern for the environment and that they are seeking everything that will preserve the environment and reduce thermal emissions.
In the same vein, Mr. Mohammed Babaker, official of Sudan Zero West Media Office, one of the participants in the exhibition, said that the exhibition brought together a number of authorities and bodies working in the field of environmental conservation, including investors in environmentally friendly products.
Ms. Noal Khader Moussa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Media Initiative for the Environment, also appreciated the Conference’s idea, describing it as raising environmental awareness and hoping to find its luck in spreading and participating in future copies.
