Minister of Education participates in the Third Conference on Vocational Education and Training in Algeria
The Minister of Education, Mahmoud Sirlakhtam Al-Hawri, arrived in Algeria to participate in the Third Conference on Vocational Education and Training in the Arab World. He was received at the airport by the Sudan’s Ambassador to Algeria, Nadia Mohamed Kheir Osman, and the Algerian Minister of Training Yassin Marabi.
The conference proceeds and lasts for three days to discuss the theme “Harmonizing technical and vocational education and training with the labour market and the future of the green economy and digitization”, with the participation of more than 120 participants from various countries and international and Arab bodies.
The conference aims to adopt a comprehensive development plan for the technical and vocational education and training sector in the Arab world and to disseminate and enrich national experiences in this area.
The conference also aims to strengthen the legal and structural system of the Arab sector and to develop a unified Arab qualification reference framework to ensure quality training and training in line with the standards required by the Arab and international labour market.
as well as the development of mechanisms to enhance the sector’s contribution to the labour market and the development of national economies, as well as to enhance the sector’s attractiveness to different segments of society and to find successful ways to respond to the demand for formation and to look forward to future careers.
Ambassador Nadia noted the importance of the Sudan’s participation in such Arab forums, which include international organizations, public sector partner institutions and the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (AESCO).
