SUNA to disseminate IGAD’s State of the Region Address on February 1

The Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu, is to present the State of the Region Address on February 1, 2023 at the Kenyan town of Mombasa.

The Sudan News Agency (SUNA) will disseminate directly Dr. Gebeyehu’s State of The Region Address through its platforms.

And Authority on Development’s (IGAD) Security Sector Program (ISSP) is organizing an Inter-Ministerial Forum for the Ministers of Justice and Police Commissioners in the presence of the IGAD Committee of Ambassadors in the Kenyan town of Mombasa on January 30-31, 2023.

The forum is to discuss Enhancing Regional Cooperation and Coordination against Transnational Security Threats.
