Continued shelling by the Sudanese Army

Fighting continues between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum and western Sudan this morning, entering its fourth month.

The army’s artillery shelled positions belonging to the Rapid Support Forces in both central Omdurman and neighborhoods in Khartoum. The military also targeted the Sports City located north of Khartoum, which was a gathering place for Rapid Support Forces.

In the west, warplanes targeted Rapid Support Forces’ positions in Nyala, South Darfur state.
