Preparedness of isolation centres for coronavirus fifth wave

The Director of the Department of Isolation Centres in Khartoum State Dr. Mohieddin Hassan Haj Hamad revealed an increase in coronavirus cases globally and locally.

Muhyiddin said we did not arrive to declare a wave but the likelihood is high and (continued) isolation centres are ready to receive cases, and the Khartoum oxygen isolation center (Petank) is being equipped with the support of the Children’s Welfare Organization in anticipation of any increase in oxygen need.

Regarding his Ministry of Health’s preparations for the fifth wave, he said that the Ministry was committed to paying workers’ benefits and providing them with confusion aids and preventive drugs, but that additional support could be needed in some medicines.
