Al-Burhan receives the credentials of Russia’s federal ambassador to the Sudan

The President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, has received the credentials of H.E. Mr. André Novol as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the Sudan in the presence of Foreign Minister Ali Al-Sadiq

The President of the Council stressed the importance of relations and the development of prospects for cooperation between the two countries and the Sudan’s desire to strengthen relations and support them in various areas.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s determination to strengthen and promote relations in all fields and expressed the hope that the aspirations of the people of the Sudan to establish stability, security, peace and prospects for progress and prosperity would be realized.
