Al-Qadarif announces its readiness for the agricultural season

The General Directorate of Production and Economic Resources of El Gedaref revealed that 7 million acres were planted with various agricultural crops in the current agricultural season.

Director-General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources of El Gedaref Omar Mohamed Ahmed Al-Bashir said on Tuesday that the readiness to plant 4.5 million acres with corn crop and this season expand the area of 1.2 million acres in sesame compared with (600) A thousand acres last year after tackling the scourge of Hamush as well as 500 acres of rainy cotton, 180 acres of sunflower and area (500) A thousand acres for millet and (100) A for tolerance and (20) a thousand acres for other crops.

Ahmed pointed to the completion of the fight against the scourge of Al-Anadid in the state by up to “93%”, while equipment is being carried out to combat the scourge of Al-Anadid.
