Foreign Minister to Lead Sudan Delegation to Meetings of Arab League’s Ministerial Council
Sudan will participate in the periodical meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Arab League which will begin Tuesday in Cairo, with a delegation headed by the acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq.
In a statement , the Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting will discuss a number of issues, including the Kuwaiti initiative to achieve Arab food security, holding of the next Arab summit in Algeria in early next November, and other issues such as the support to the Palestinian cause and solidarity with the Palestinian people and issues of conflicts within the Arab world and working to settle and resolve them.
He said that the meeting will witness transfer of the ministerial council’s chairmanship from Lebanon to Libya.
He added that Sudan will present a draft resolution for support to it in facing challenges.
