The President of the Transitional Sovereign Council confirms the strength of Sudan’s relations Kuwait.
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, confirmed the strength of Sudan’s relations with Kuwait, noting the fruitful cooperation relations between the two brothers.
This came upon receipt today of Kuwaiti Ambassador Fahad Machar Al-Zafiri’s accreditation as Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Sudan.
He conveyed His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s greetings to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and their heartfelt wishes to His Excellency and the Sudanese people for greater security, stability and prosperity.
In a press statement, Kuwaiti Ambassador Dr. Fahad Machar Al-Zafiri noted the deep-rooted and historic relations between the two countries and praised the Sudan’s national and consistent attitudes towards Kuwait since its independence in 1961.
He stated that he was one of the first countries to stand with her and paid tribute to the Sudanese community working in Kuwait and its outstanding presence in the government and private sectors.
He stressed his country’s readiness to stand by the Sudan in the economic, investment and development fields, especially at this delicate stage that the Sudan is currently undergoing.
