The Sudan affirms its desire to strengthen cooperation between the IGAD countries

The Minister for Foreign Affairs in Charge received Ambassador Ali Sadik Ali at his office Dr. Osman Hassan Belil, Head of the IGAD Mission accredited to the Sudan, who submitted his credentials to his sovereignty.

The Minister affirmed the readiness of the Government of the Sudan to provide all facilities to the Head of the IGAD Mission in Khartoum to fulfil his functions and responsibilities and affirmed the Sudan’s desire to promote regional integration and cooperation among IGAD States under his current chairmanship of the Organization.

For his part, the Head of the IGAD Mission in the Sudan announced his full commitment to cooperate with the Government of the Sudan in the implementation of the joint programmes between the Sudan and the Organization and to coordinate with the relevant ministries and entities.
