The tripartite committee of the military component meets the forces of national consensus

The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Chairman of the Tripartite Committee of the Military Component, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo of the Republican Palace, chaired the Committee’s meeting with the National Consensus Bloc with the participation of the Member of the Sovereign Council, Ibrahim Jaber.

Dr. Abdelaziz Asher, a member of the leadership body of the national consensus forces, said in a press release that the meeting discussed ways to consolidate initiatives in the political arena in order to achieve a national consensus leading to the formation of structures and institutions for the transition period.

Dr. Abdelaziz Asher added that the meeting had addressed a number of issues related to the unification of national will, stating that the discussion during the meeting had been transparent and important, noting the parties’ agreement to continue consultations, and emphasizing the importance of the time element in the next phase towards genuine national consensus in the shortest possible period of time.
