Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Head to Uganda on an official visit
Today, Saturday, President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, went to Uganda on an official visit, to discuss common issues between the two countries and strengthen bilateral relations.
A statement issued by the Sovereignty Council stated that, during the visit (of indefinite duration), Al-Burhan will hold discussions with the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, to address the course of bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen them, and issues of common interest.
Al-Burhan’s visit to Uganda is the sixth of its kind, after Egypt, South Sudan, Qatar, Eritrea, and Turkey since the outbreak of fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in mid-April.
