After receiving 40,000 reports.. Zoom solves the problem that prevented users from attending meetings

Zoom, a live video communication platform said, Thursday, that it had resolved the issue that was preventing users from starting and joining meetings, after more than 40,000 users reported problems with the video conferencing platform, according to Reuters.

Downdetector.com, a website that tracks outages by compiling reports from various sources including user-submitted errors on its platform, showed that 40,377 users reported problems. The actual number of affected users may vary.”We will continue to monitor and provide updates as we have them,” Zoom said on its status page.

Earlier in July, the platform encountered some issues with its dial-up feature. According to Downdetector at the time, there were nearly 10,000 incidents in which people reported issues with the podcast platform.

Zoom said at the time on its status dashboard that the dial-up feature was experiencing degraded performance.
