After the failure of his evacuation… the body of a Sudanese student buried in his university’s yard

The name of the Sudanese student, Khaled Abdel Moneim, topped the communication sites, after he was killed by a gunshot wound in the chest.

After attempts to evacuate him with others failed near the Faculty of Arts, University of Khartoum, Sunday.

The “Faculty of Arts Association” announced on Sunday that the student had been killed by a gunshot wound to the chest, before announcing on Monday that his body would be buried in the yard of one of the college’s buildings.

Activists stated that the body of Khaled is in the eastern part of the university, after the university took permission from his family.

During the last hours, students at the University of Khartoum documented in a video clip via Facebook, dozens of students crowded two days ago in the basement of the library of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Khartoum, which is located near the General Command of the Sudanese army, where an exchange of fire has been taking place for four days.
