Al-Burhan arrives Juba
The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul Fattah Al Burhan accompanied by the Transitional Sovereign Council member, Dr Siddiq Tawer , arrived in Juba, capital of South Sudan Wednesday .
He was received at Juba airport by the President of the Republic of South Sudan , Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit and the South Sudanese mediation led by the President Kiir’s Advisor for Security Affairs, Tott Gulwak .
The TSC President will address the opening sitting of the round of peace talks between the transitional government and the Sudan People Liberation Movement-North led by Abdul Aziz Al Hilu which will begin today in the presence of President of the Republic of South Sudan, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit and the Prime Minister, Dr Abdalla Hamdok, SPLM-N Chairman Abdul Aziz Al Hilu, and a number of ministers , national experts and representatives of the regional and international missions.
The President of the TSC will hold meeting with President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir to tackle a host of issues and progress of achievement of comprehensive peace.
