Al-Burhan confirms Sudan’s support for legitimacy in yemen
Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fatah al-Burhan confirmed the depth and elegance of relations between the Sudan and Yemen.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, Rashad Mohamed Alimi, received his residence in Algeria on the sidelines of the Arab Summit.
He affirmed His Excellency the position of the Sudan with the legitimacy of Yemen and the support of the Yemeni leadership and the Yemeni people in all fields and considered the return of the Yemeni leadership to Yemen as an important step in the way of peace and stability in Yemen.
In addition, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen provided the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council with an explanation of the developments in Yemen, particularly the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the building of State institutions, commending the Sudan’s positions in support of legitimacy in Yemen.
President Rashad Alimi commended Sudan’s experience in combating terrorism.
The meeting was attended from the Sudanese side by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning. Ambassador Ali Sadik and Ambassador Sudan to Algeria Ambassador Nadia Mohamed Khair, Minister for Foreign Affairs in charge.
On the Yemeni side, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ahmed bin Mubarak, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Achul, and Yemen’s delegate to the Arab League, Mr. Riyad Al-Akiri, were also present.
