Al-Qadarif against drugs and alcohol
The anti-narcotics administration in the eastern Sudanese state of Al-Qadarif has seized and destroyed 883 kilograms of hashish and a number of imported alcohol bottles.
General Sami Hariz, director of the General Administration for Drug Control, confirmed that the destruction came as part of efforts to protect the minds of young people from the scourge of drugs.
General Madathir Al-Khalil, director of the state police, also praised the achievements of the anti-narcotics police.
It is worth noting that Sudan has recently witnessed a wave of drug proliferation, which has affected many segments of young people, prompting government and popular efforts to combat drugs.
