Hamidti addresses Saudi Arabia
The commander of the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), has discussed the situation in Sudan with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during a phone call.
He stated that the call came amid efforts by Saudi and American mediators to end the Sudanese conflict. Hemedti expressed his support for the Jeddah Peace Forum and emphasized the importance of protecting civilians and providing humanitarian aid to alleviate their suffering.
He also welcomed the joint statement issued by mediators regarding continued indirect talks and thanked Saudi Arabia for its generous support to the people of Sudan.
There have been rumors circulating about Hemedti’s death during the conflict, but some politicians and activists believe that these are just rumors fueled by artificial intelligence technology.
