Hemedti stresses the eternal relations between Sudan and Chad
The President of the Transitional Military Council of the Republic of Chad, General Mohamed Idriss Deby, received today at the Presidential Palace in N’Djamena, the Vice President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, and the accompanying delegation represented by the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Ibrahim Mofaddal, and the Head of the Military Intelligence Authority, Major General Ahmed Mohamed Ali Saber.
The two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing and developing them in a way that achieves the common interest. Also, the two sides discussed the common files between Khartoum and Chad and how to coordinate and cooperate in them.
The Vice-President of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, confirmed in statements after the talks on the permanence of the relationship between Khartoum and injamena, noting that the discussions dealt with security files and border issues in addition to economic cooperation, noting that the Chadian president secured all the issues raised, and indicated that the talks also discussed some problems.
He pointed to Sudan’s hosting of the meetings of the Sudanese-Chadian joint forces, which lasted for four days in Khartoum, and he pointed to the discussion of how Chad can benefit from the port of Port Sudan and all economic and trade possibilities, calling for the importance of facilitating the movement of citizens and trade between the two brotherly countries.
