Increase in Sudan’s gold exports in the first half of 2022

In its semi-annual report, the Central Bank of Sudan announced that Sudan’s gold exports rose in the first half of 2022 to 1,315.0 billion dollars, compared to 1,014.1 billion dollars in the first half of last year 2021, with an increase of 300,900 million dollars.

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Ltd. Mubarak Abdul Rahman Ardol congratulated the partners and stakeholders in the mineral sector in Sudan. He attributed the continuous rise in gold production since the year 2020 to the hard work that has been done by the mineral sector, its affiliates, ministries and related institutions.

Ardol expressed his pride and pride in these successes backed by facts and figures, which he said constitute an open book and a statement of action for all attempts to discourage workers and investors in the mineral sector in Sudan.
