Islamic Call Organization inaugurates its convoys for those affected by torrential rains and floods in the country .The convoys contain food and shelter materials, as well as aids for environmental sanitation. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Malak, paid Mr. Abdul-Qader the inauguration of the convoy in Riyadh Park, and the undersecretary commended the role of the organization despite the circumstances it had experienced, and regretted that foreign organizations stopped working in such circumstances and turned towards politics.
During her address to the launch of the convoy, the Undersecretary expressed her happiness with the return of the organization’s activity in the country of the headquarters, Sudan, and its support for humanitarian work and contribution to covering the needs of those affected.
For his part, the Alternate Secretary-General of the Dawah Organization, Yahya Adam Othman, said, “Today, we bid farewell to convoys to reach the affected people, and we are happy that they will wipe away all the tears of orphans and widows.”
Yahya revealed coordination with the affected states and the participation of some companies in the convoy that will go to the states of Kassala, River Nile, Gezira, and others to Darfur, noting that the states’ demands focused on environmental sanitation, as materials were provided to them.
He stressed that the organization, which works to serve and assist African people in times of crises and emergencies, is resuming its activities in Sudan and is more determined to move forward to serve its humanitarian mission for the benefit of the citizens of the headquarters country.
