Khartoum is witnessing intensification of confrontations

Confrontations intensified between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support around the General Command in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, according to local sources.

Violent clashes renewed between the army and the Rapid Support with all types of light and heavy weapons in the General Command.

Sources reported that violent clashes broke out in Omdurman, Al-Fitehab, block 13/14/15 , and other separate areas.

According to eyewitnesses, anti-aircraft missiles were heard as reconnaissance aircraft flew over Khartoum North, and artillery shelling continued from Omdurman.

The army also carried out intense artillery shelling from Karari military base.
