Dr. Abdul Baqi launches projects of the Industrial and Small Business Development

Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council Dr. Abdelbaki Abdelkader Al-Zubair appreciated the appreciative role played by the Small Industries and Business Development Authority, towards craftsmen, in offering many projects that contribute to the promotion and maximization of Sudanese products.

During the launch of the Commission’s projects, he said, in the Bahri local industrial area today, and the distribution of a number of productive projects, in the presence of the Governor of Khartoum State, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza, Director General of the State Ministry of Social Development, Professor Siddiq Hassan Freini, and Director General of the Small Industry Development Authority. “The craftsman segment is a fundamental pillar of the country’s development”, calling for greater attention and technical and technical education opportunities to keep pace with development in this area.

The member of the Sovereign Council stressed his support for the artisans’ segment and noted the importance of benefiting from smart partnerships that support security and stability. and the need to adhere to the mastery and quality of performance.

For his part, the Governor of Khartoum State, Mr. Ahmed Osman Hamza, praised the Craftsmen’s Authority for its projects to contribute to the economic and social renaissance and considered the launching of projects as a new start in the process of giving them so as to enable them to improve and develop performance.He announced the organization of an extensive meeting of all artisans to discuss the challenges facing them and find treatments for them, and directed the Ministry of Social Development to allocate a site to be a permanent exhibition for craftsmen.

Furthermore, the Director General of the Ministry of Social Development of Khartoum State, Mr. Siddiq Hassan Freini, affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to provide for the needs of the artisan segment, enabling it to fulfil its tasks and duties.

He said that the Ministry’s funding for this leading and successful body, which amounted to 633 million pounds, targeted the active segments of the private and public sectors of the state.

Mr. Omar Abdul Hamid, Director General of Industry and Small Business Development, noted that the Authority was established in 2011 and worked to upgrade craft work, increase intermediate transport facilities and establish many projects.
