Research the strengthening of academic relations between the Sudan and Turkey

Professor Mohamed Hassan Dahab, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, revealed that the next phase will see the holding of high-level joint meetings between the Sudan and Turkey to strengthen academic cooperation between the two countries, noting their association with exceptional relations and strong cultural and historical ties.

During his three-day visit to Turkey, Professor Arul Ozvar, President of the Turkish Higher Education Council, stressed that the officials of the two states endeavor to strengthen academic communication, especially after they signed numerous agreements and memorandums of understanding in academic and scientific fields, stressing the importance of mutual relations between the two sides.

In the honour of the visit, Prof. Mohammed Hassan Dahab and his accompanying delegation met with Prof. Abdullahi Arran, President of the Turkish Grants Authority, and visited the headquarters of the Union of Afro-Asian Universities in Bangkok, where Prof. Abdul Majid Al-Makhlafi met with the representative of the Federation.

The ceremony was also attended by Professor Abdulkhalek Rahmallah, Director of the Sudan Open University in Khartoum.
