Seizing stolen money and money coming from Khartoum

Police in Al Jazirah state have recovered approximately SDG22m ($390,000) stolen from Khartoum, along with counterfeit currency and gold jewelry. Three suspects, including a woman, have been arrested.

The ongoing unrest in Sudan has seen homes, banks, and public facilities looted and vandalized. Rapid Support Forces members have been implicated in some of the incidents. Activists are documenting the stolen items and violations to present them to the judiciary when it resumes work in the country.
