Signing of a joint cooperation between the Sudanese and Somali Ministries of Defence

The Sudanese and Somali ministries of defence signed joint cooperation between them. The Sudanese side signed the Minister of Defence, General Yassin Ibrahim Yassin, and the Somali side, Mr. Abdelkader Mohamed Nur, the Minister of Defence of Somalia.

The Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim, reaffirmed the Sudan’s desire to advance the relations of the two fraternal countries to greater heights.

For his part, the Minister of Defence of Somalia praised the relationship between the two countries and expressed the hope that it would contribute to the progress and development of the two brothers’ peoples.

It should also be noted that the two sides have held discussions on ways and means of developing joint relations between the two countries in the areas of training, rehabilitation and transfer of expertise.
