SRCS receives planes loading with humanitarian assistance
The Sudanese Red Crescent Soc eity(SRCS) received today two planes loading with humanitarian assistance provided by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) sufficient for supporting four thousand families.
Director of emergency at SRCS, Rahma Mohamed Ibrahim said the assistance was estimated at 58 tons of non-food stuff materials including blankets, tarpaulins, mats and cooking utensils in addition to materials for personal cleaning estimated at half million dollars.
It worth mentioning that the SCRS provided humanitarian assistance during the last August for 3500 families in four states affected by torrential rains.
