Stability of the sectors on Nile River
The daily report of the Flood Committee revealed that all sectors on the Nile are stable below the flood levels.
The committee also confirmed that the Deem is at the level of the flood, and the level of the Blue Nile at the Sudanese-Ethiopian border recorded 582 million square meters (21 million square meters higher than last year), and Atbara River recorded 506 million square meters higher than last year by 239 million square meters, while the level of the White Nile (Malkal) recorded 170 million square meters per day.
The statement confirmed that the drainage behind the Roseires dam decreased today to 384 million square meters, compared to 416 million square meters yesterday, and the drainage behind the Sennar dam decreased to 370 million square meters, compared to 399 million square meters yesterday, while the drainage in the Atbara and Setit dam rose to 506 million square meters compared to 330 million square meters , and the drainage in Khashm El-Girba increased to 342 million square meters compared to 205 million square meters , and the discharge in Meroe also decreased to 647 million square meters compared to 671 million square meters, and the discharge also decreased in Jabal Awlia to 126 million square meters compared to 128 million cubic meters yesterday.
The committee also announced the continuation of storage in all tanks.
