Sudan participates in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank
Sudan participates in the annual meetings of the Monetary Fund and the International Bank to be held in Washington from 10 to 16 October.
The delegation of the Sudan participating in the meetings is expected to be chaired by D. Djibril Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, met with Arab, regional and international financial institutions and held joint meetings with finance ministers and central bankers of member states participating in the meetings.
The delegation discusses obstacles to addressing the Sudan’s external debt and opportunities to benefit from international debt relief initiatives and reviews ongoing economic developments and reforms, as well as the Sudan’s technical aid needs.
