Sudan participates in the meetings of the 50th session of the Committee on Food Security

Meetings of the 50th Session of the Committee on Food Security, held from 10 to 13 October Rome, began with the participation of agronomist Abla Malik on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and Dr. Fatima Al-Hassan, Secretary General of the Technical Secretariat for Food Security.

Abla referred in the inaugural session to the food security situation in the Sudan and the challenges to achieving food security of high prices and climate change.

It also noted the Sudan’s potential to achieve global food security through science, innovation and hand-in-hand action in coordination with international and regional organizations.
