The Council of National Parties calls for the adoption of an umbrella meeting for national consensus

The Council of National Parties invited the Chairman of the Sovereign Council, General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, to adopt an invitation for political and community forces to meet with an umbrella to reach an urgent national agreement, the results of which will be announced immediately to turn the page of national intersections with a view to making the transition period a success.

According to Mr. Abboud Jaber Said, the Council called on the Secretary-General to change his policies and concepts of pressure on the Sudan, which he had maintained in the previous period and which had followed the Sudanese people and their territorial neighbourhood.

He affirmed the Sudanese people’s openness to the world and their international commitments in accordance with the global cooperation frameworks, and commended the efforts made and the need for openness in the Sudan’s external relations and its foundation on the principles of regional and international cooperation.

He renewed support for the Sudan’s leadership by national youth parties.
