The Ministry of Defence reaffirms Sudan’s commitment to the implementation of the Chemical weapons

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Defence, Major General Mustafa Hassan Mohammed, reaffirmed Sudan’s commitment to implementing the provisions of the Convention for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons through the executive arm of the National Chemical Weapons Prohibition Machinery and the Ministry of Defence to sponsor all activities related to the training and rehabilitation of national cadres.

At the end of the activities of the Regional Council of First Responders to IGAD Chemical Events in Khartoum yesterday, General Mustafa commended the efforts of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to implement the CWC, praising its role in training and qualifying national cadres.
