The Ukrainian president issued a decree regarding “refusal of any negotiations with Putin.”
The Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, agreed to the decision of the National Security and Defense Council in the country, regarding the possibility of negotiations with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
It was written in the text of the statement published on the website of the office of Zelensky: “The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to announce the status of negotiations with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin”.
Zelensky has repeatedly asked through his statements to hold a direct meeting with President Putin in order to conduct direct negotiations regarding the resolution of the conflict.
On his part, the Kremlin repeatedly said that there is no direct negotiation between the two presidents before agreeing on the Russian demands and the clauses included by the two sides regarding the crisis.
