UAE Red Crescent distributes sacrifices in 6 states
The UAE Embassy in Khartoum on the second and third days of Eid al-Adha carried out the Dahiya project in Sudan with the support of the UAE Red Crescent and benefited from the project more than (35) thousand families in (6) States are Red Sea, Kassala, Nile River, North and Island as well as Khartoum State in (4) areas including Soba, Fatah 2, Saleh and Issawiyah West.
Dr. Badriya Abdullah Al-Shehhi, Acting Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Khartoum, expressed satisfaction with the success of the sacrificial distribution programme in providing for the needs of thousands of families targeted, and said that this project is part of the sacrificial campaign organized by the Emirati Red Crescent Authority under the slogan “Give u… eid” in 56 countries around the world.
For their part, a number of beneficiaries expressed their appreciation and gratitude for this humanitarian gesture from the UAE and its wise leadership, which continued to support the Sudan in many areas. They also commended the efforts of the UAE Red Crescent, pointing out that the UAE’s standing with the Sudanese is not the birth of the hour, but the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
