UNAMID delegation meets with the Director of Prison Forces

General Yasser Omar Abuzid, Director of the Prison Forces, held an enlightenment meeting with the UNAMID delegation in the presence of Ms. Romana Schweiker, Director of the organization’s Rule of Law Section and other members of the delegation.

According to the police press office, the meeting discussed a detailed information from the Director of Prison Forces on the separation of prisons and their dependence on the Minister of the Interior in charge. The visit is in coordination with the Bureau of International Relations of Prison Forces.

He also discussed ways of cooperating between the organization and prison forces in terms of correctional rehabilitation and the development of prison personnel to keep pace with the decision to dismiss prison forces.
