After the killing of al-Zawahiri in Afghanistan, the leader of alQaidah moved to Iran, led by Saif aladel
US sources have confirmed to CNN that the US has successfully targeted al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri with a drone.
Other US sources said it was expected that after the killing of Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda’s terrorist leadership would move to the Egyptian Saif aladel in Iran.
Identical sources confirmed that Saif aladel (Egyptian Citizenship) was present in Iran as the candidate to succeed Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was killed in an American raid last Sunday.
The Saif aladel has resided in Iran since its refuge after the United States invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.
Some of alQaidah’s supporters are unaware of this fact, some ignore it, and there are three signs that the Saif aladel exists in Iran.
Firstly, the testimony of Khaled al-Arouri Abi al-Qassam al-Jordanian leader of the al-Qa ‘iddin Guard Organization in al-Sham in October 2017, al-Arouri wrote that Saif aladel lived at large in Iran after his release in the famous exchange deal with Yemen base in 2015.
Secondly, Saif aladel remained with the father of Mohammed al-Masri in Iran. With the assassination of Abu Mohammad in Tehran in 2020, we have the right to assume that Saif aladel is also present in Iran.
Thirdly, Mostafa Hamid Abu al-Walid, father-in-law of Saif aladel, who had taken refuge in Iran, left Iran in 2011 and spent months in Egypt but chose to return to Tehran, according to the man on his website (Mafa).
That is why we are not surprised that Saif aladel is also in Tehran.
