Ministry of Irrigation discusses joint cooperation between the Sudan and Chad in the field of water resources

The Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources in charge of Bayt Abd al-Rahman Mansour and his technical staff met with the Minister of Urban and Rural Irrigation of the Republic of Chad, His Excellency Mr. Aliyu Abdullah Ibrahim, and his accompanying delegation.

The Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources said that the visit of the Chadian delegation was due to the reflection, cooperation and exchange between the two countries in the area of shared water resources for the benefit of the two fraternal countries and their progress in all areas of water and economic.

On his part, the Minister of Urban and Rural Irrigation of the State of Chad said that the visit had achieved its objectives in terms of reflection and discussion on the exploitation of the water resources shared between the two countries for the benefit of the two countries.

The Chadian delegation, together with the Minister, included the Director-General of External Resources Mobilization, Ministry of Economy and Development Planning, International Cooperation, the Director-General of Irrigation and Sanitation, the Legal Adviser, the National Coordinator of the Baatiha II Project and the Public Relations Officer.
