Mufadil presents his credentials as Ambassador to the President of the Republic of Austria

Ambassador Majdi Ahmed muFadil presented his credentials to Austrian President Alexander van der Palin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Sudan to the Republic of Austria.Ambassador Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereign Council of Austria, conveyed the Sudan’s aspiration to strengthen relations with his country in various areas, particularly cooperation in the field of food security, support for the democratic transition in the country and capacity-building of various State institutions.

For his part, the Austrian President welcomed the Ambassador and affirmed the readiness of the competent authorities to provide him with every possible assistance to facilitate his task of promoting relations between the two countries.

He asked for his compliments to be conveyed to the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, stressing his country’s readiness to do everything possible to support the democratic transition in the country and directed His Excellency in coordination with the Austrian Development Aid Agency to develop cooperation in the field of food security.
