Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry Meets Deputy Chairman of Football Association

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dafa’alla Al-Haj Ali, received in his office the Deputy Chairman of the Sudanese Football Association, Usama Attal-Mannan, and the accompanying delegation.

Attal-Mannan and the accompanying delegation briefed the undersecretary on the initiative of “Together for the Homeland”, which aims to renounce fanaticism in sports.

He praised the assistance provided by Sudan embassies to the Sudanese sports missions during their activities abroad.

Members of the delegation have requested the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in some of the association’s projects related to the rehabilitation of a number of sports stadiums.

The Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry spoke about the importance of sports as an aspect of the soft diplomacy, and promised the delegation that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would coordinate between them and the relevant authorities in the stadium rehabilitation project to provide the necessary support for them.
