African Conference for Promoting Peace Concludes sessions in Mauritania
The 3rd African Conference on Promoting Peace, which was held during 17-19 January 2023, concluded sessions in Mauritania.
The Acting Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Abdel-Ati Ahmed Abbas ,said that Sudan participated in the conference due to the great scientific status of scholars and researchers at the General Secretariat of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Abu Dhabi, which extended the invitation .
He pointed out that the conference discussed a number of axes and topics that call for renouncing hate speech and protection of young people from Hyperbole, atheism and extremism.
During the closing session, the leaders and ministers of the countries and delegations that participated in the conference gave speeches and expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the president, government and people for their hospitality and wonderful reception of the conference delegates.
The conferees also extended their sincere thanks to Sheikh Abdallah bin Bayyah, President of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies and the officials of the conference for their generous care and great attention given to the guests of the conference.
