China grants the Sudan RMB90 million to implement vital projects

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning has signed with the People’s Republic of China a grant agreement of RMB90 million equivalent to US $13 million for the implementation of various vital projects in the country.

On behalf of the Government of the Sudan, D. Djibril Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, signed on behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Ambassador Machin Min, Ambassador of China to the Republic of the Sudan.

The Minister of Finance commended China’s positions in support of the Sudan and its continued efforts to provide assistance and assistance in various fields. He hoped that relations between the two countries would be developed in the direction of building strategic projects for the desired benefit of the friendly peoples. He pointed out that the Sudan was a rich country with its potential and natural resources and that cooperation with developed countries would help to develop products and benefit all parties.

For his part, Mr. Machin Min, Ambassador of the Republic of China to the Sudan, reaffirmed his country’s readiness to provide further technical and economic assistance to the Sudan and to promote and develop relations at all levels in order to achieve the common interests of the peoples of the two countries.
